DCI World Class:
Pacific Crest - Known for regional competition, Crest desired a slimming, athletic look that maintained a certain SoCal glamor. Reminiscent of the sunset over the pacific, the new look incorporated teal and bronze/copper metallic textures to great fiery effect.
DCI Open Class:
Teal Sound - Celebrating a decade of competition in DCI, Teal Sound is wearing a look that is based on their powerful "diamond" emblem. Bands of various teal tints collide at a center apex with a gold and teal mirror that returns with a solid band of the corps' signature teal. This is presented on a neutral suit that is predominantly cream.
DCA
Manchester Muchachos - An exciting and classic look updated for today - con mas Fuego! If Zorro marched, this is the suit he would choose!
In addition to "original" work, I had the great privilege of once again consulting for the world-renowned Santa Clara Vanguard. Ramiro Barrera and I collaborated once more to develop a much-debated and heroic baldric slash addition to my Madison masterpiece from last season.
So what's next? I recently finished working up a design for the new Fort corps based out of the Dallas area - the group, formerly known as Memphis Sound - will be utilizing an all-gray suit with luxurious violet metallic lustres and thin balck satin trim. A bit further on down, look for some innovative and intense changes to the Seattle Cascades in 2010!
